展覧会に合わせて来日するflyingCityを招き、アーティストトークを行います。
flyingCityのこれまでの活動紹介、今回の展示について、また今後の活動についての紹介をいたします。

【住友 文彦　プロフィール】
（すみとも ふみひこ／キュレーター、本展企画協力）
金沢21世紀美術館建設事務局、NTTインターコミュニケーションセンター、東京都現代美術館などに勤務。日本の現代美術を紹介する展覧会として「美麗新世界」（中国／2007）などの企画にも関わる。2008年には「川俣正［通路］」展（東京都現代美術館）、2009年は「ヨコハマ国際映像祭」のディレクター、2010年は「メディアシティソウル2010」の共同キュレーターをつとめ、美術館の内側と外側で仕事をしてきている。「複雑で便利な時代と見えなくなるアート」（『21世紀における芸術の役割』未来社、2006年）、「キュレーターになる」（フィルムアート社、2009年）などの共著がある。

Commentary on the installation Bio-Mechanism Terminal as well as introduction of flyingCity’s various activities.

【Fumihiko Sumitomo profile】
Independent curator. He was co-curator for Media_City Seoul 2010 and director of Festival for Arts and Social Technology Yokohama 2009. As a senior curator at Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo(MOT), he has most recently organized the exhibition Tadashi Kawamata: Walkway (2008) and served as a co-curator for the 3rd Nanjing Triennial 2008. He also co-curated the international exhibitions Beautiful New World: Contemporary Visual Culture from Japan (“798” Dashanzi Art District and Guangdong Museum of Art, 2007) and Rapt! - 20 Contemporary Artists from Japan (Australia, 2006). Before joining MOT, he worked for NTT InterCommunication Center (ICC) in Tokyo, where he organized the exhibitions Art Meets Media: Adventure in Perception (2005) and Possible Futures: Japanese Postwar Art and Technology (2005). Prior to joining ICC, Mr. Sumitomo was a curator at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, organizing the exhibitions Laboratory of Doubt (2003) and edited a journal “R”. He has contributed to several books, including The Role of Art in the 21st Century (Tokyo: Mirai-sha 2006), and is also a key member of Arts Initiative Tokyo (AIT), a nonprofit, independent collective of curators and art administrators based in Tokyo with the mission to provide a new public forum for contemporary art.
